Crystal Lake Dam was constructed in the 1920’s and is classified as a high hazard dam. Duane K. Stewart & Associates was responsible for the design specifications for the repair and modification of a concrete spillway for the dam. This included a siphon drain, a revised concrete chute spillway, upgrading a small basin with rip rap, and use of pre-cast concrete wave protection. We also coordinated with another area engineering firm to provide the client with geotechnical services.
